The Carney Institute for Brain Science houses several different spaces for research with human participants, collectively known as the Carney Human Testing Space (Carney “HuTS”). This includes electrically shielded and sound attenuated testing rooms that are used for consenting psychometric testing and/or electroencephalogram tests (EEG), and a transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) facility equipped with an MRI-based neuronavigation system and multiple types of hand-held coils.
