In any given week, Brown hosts an astounding variety of events, largely organized and run by academic departments and students. Guests come to campus and offer distinctive views informed by their experiences, expertise and scholarship.

Opening Convocation

Every fall, new students process through the Van Wickle Gates and gather on the College Green to officially launch their Brown academic careers.
