On June 13, Brown University staff successfully achieved a GUINNESS WORLD RECORD™ title of  3,000 backpacks stuffed in one hour! 

In collaboration with United Way of Rhode Island, Brown University staff  filled backpacks with school supplies for children attending the Hasbro Summer Learning Initiative.  The record title was certified by GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ Adjudicator Casey DeSantis. Participants needed less than 5 minutes to smash the current record of 1,512 backpacks.
