Learn how your personality "type," culture, and gender intersects with the model minority myth to impact how you might deal with a biased world, while sharing a free dinner with peers. Mary Grace Almandrez, Ed.D., Associate Vice President at Brown University, and Vibha Pingle, Ph.D., (Brown sociology and founder, Ubuntu at Work, will speak to the cultural challenges of their own leadership journeys, while leadership exercises and discussion address the ways invisibility, exotification, emasculation, and the glass ceiling can be approached through a strong sense of identity that honors cultural components. Interested students are asked to register by Thursday 4/12 and return a completed Myers-Briggs to Counseling & Psychological Services by 5:00 pm Monday 4/16.
