"A Day in the Life" - Medical Student Panel Discussion

 Pre Health Advising and the PLME Program will be hosting a panel of 4 current Warren Alpert Medical School Students for "A Day in the Life" Q&A session. They will share their experiences and expertise with the group and answer questions. All Pre-Health students and alumni in the current application cycle are welcome!

April 10, 2024: Pre-Registration Health Career Peer Advisors Event

The Brown University Peer Advising team will be hosting a Pre-Registration event on Wednesday April 10 from 6:00-7:00 pm in room 208. Join them for questions, advice and pizza!

Duke Medical School Admissions Visit

The Admissions team from Duke Medical School will visit to share information on the admissions process and answer questions for interested students.

April 4th 4:00 pm: Virtual Admissions Seminar: Rutgers New Jersey Medical School will be hosting a virtual admissions seminar for prospective students to learn more about the application process, interview tips, curriculum, and more.  April 8, 2024 4:30 - 7:30 pm EST: The Global Health Initiative invites students, residents, fellows and trainees from Brown to submit abstracts for presentation at Global Health Research Day which will be held in person at the Alpert Medical School 222 Richmond St., LH 160 & Atrium, Providence, RI. April 10, 11, 12th, 2024: AAMC Virtual Medical School Fair: This FREE Virtual Fair offers an opportunity to connect with admissions officers, current medical students, application services, and the AAMC. Gain insights into the application process, financial aid, the MCAT exam, AMCAS application and the SHPEP program. For more information or to register, visit their site

April 12-14, 2024: World Pre-Health Conference. If you want to learn about what MD admissions officers are really looking for, present your research and win $3,000 of Kaplan study materials, plan a public health campaign or compete in a bioethics hackathon, earn diagnosis experience, or even just spend a weekend at Harvard Medical School, apply for the World Pre-Health Conference today.The application deadline to apply for in person attendance is March 10th and March 18th for virtual registration. April 20, 2024 12:00 pm - 5:30 pm EST: Virtual Conference: Future Leaders in Brain Injury: 

 Synapse National, an organization whose mission is to create social support for individuals with brain injury, will be hosting a free virtual conference that provides opportunities for all learners to explore a variety of medical specialties and career paths focused on advancing the field of brain injury. April 23, 2024 6:00 - 7:00 pm CST: Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine is hosting an open information session for prospective students. See the attached flier for more information and register here for the event. 

May 4th, 2024 8:00 am - 3:00 pm :University of Tennessee Health Science Center Pre-Dental 

 Location: Delta Dental of Tennessee Building, Memphis, TN 38103. Cost is $150 Activities include : Information and advice from our Dean of Faculty and Students,   Director of Admissions, Associate Director of Financial Aid and more. This will be a great opportunity to try your hand at dental student activities.  There will also be an opportunity for you to practice your interview skills and get feedback from current students.
