Marielena Del Pozo is the Program Manager for the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. Prior to her current position, Marielena has a strong background in Diversity and Inclusion in both private and public sector settings. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office and achieving the School of Public Health mission in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. During her undergraduate studies she discovered her passion for D&I and became an active member of the multicultural department at Guilford College where she obtained a degree in Criminal Justice and pursued a career in the legal field. After years of experience in the legal field, Marielena needed a change in career, which she returned to her real passion. With her positive attitude and strong work ethic Marielena entered the Office of Diversity and Inclusion with great ideas and goals to work towards achieving the school’s diversity goals.
