Research

Research conducted in the School of Public Health's interdisciplinary research centers addresses some of the most important public health problems facing the world today. From HIV/AIDS to climate change, from environmental exposures in the womb to end-of-life care, our research goes beyond preventing disease, to reshaping healthcare and safeguarding vulnerable populations.

Many researchers in the School of Public Health investigate the health disparities experienced by socially disadvantaged populations. Ethnicity, gender, sexual identity, age, disability, socioeconomic status, and geographic location all impact an individual’s ability to achieve good health.  Learn more about our research in the School of Public Health.
