Lily Hartmann received her Bachelor’s degree from Brown University where she studied Development Studies and Latin American and Caribbean Studies. At Brown, Hartmann researched contemporary non-state cultural sector and youth culture in Havana, Cuba. She is currently working as the Johnathan Demme Human Rights Advocate at Americans for Immigrant Justice in Miami, Florida.
