Kevin LoGiudice is a 2nd year PhD student in Dr. Srivastava’s lab. He graduated from the ScM program in 2021 and continued to do his PhD in the same lab where he conducts biomechanics research. Prior to joining Brown in 2019, he worked in the chemical engineering industry but decided to refocus his career towards the biomedical field.

On May 24, the Center for Biomedical Engineering (CBME) graduate community came together at the beautiful Audubon Nature Center and Aquarium in Bristol, RI to celebrate their shared scientific achievement. Put together by faculty, staff, and students, the event featured student presentations, keynote speakers, and awards among numerous other community building activities. 

Gavin is a recent graduate of the Biomedical Engineering master’s program. Gavin’s interest in cell mechanics led him to pursue a Master’s degree at Brown where he worked in Dr. Srivastava’s lab.

Brown University’s selection committee for its Postdoctoral Excellence Awards has announced School of Engineering postdoctoral research Arvin Soepriatna as one of two winners of the Research/Teaching award “for excellence in scholarship as researchers and/or teachers."
