Tate Kihara invited to join the Rhode Island Alpha of Phi Beta Kappa

Phi Beta Kappa is America's most prestigious honor society; it has been celebrating excellence in the liberal arts and sciences since 1776.  Of the 165 seniors being inducted this year from Brown - Tate is the only graduate student. Tate is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science at the University of Tokyo. In September 2023 he will begin working as an Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of Media and Governance at Keio University in Japan.
