History Month Spotlights (Archive)

In honor of heritage and history months, the Department of Sociology Spotlights celebrate the legacies and significant contributions of historically underrepresented groups in American society. These spotlights provide an opportunity for members of the Brown community to learn more about diverse cultures, experiences, and histories. There are many more individuals and groups that could be highlighted in this way; thus, the spotlights below are not exhaustive. After spotlights have been developed for the departmental announcements, they will be archived here. Contact Julian Culver ([email protected]) if you are interested in writing a spotlight.
