Biography

Year of Entry: 2018

I am currently in my candidacy stage, employing a unique blend of academic and corporate experience. My academic journey began with a B.A. in African-American Studies from Emory University, sparking my fervor for research and academia.

On the corporate front, I've made significant contributions to IBM's sales productivity by leveraging analytics and innovative solution identification techniques.

My research is centered around understanding the influence and impact of institutions and organizations. As an Open Graduate Fellow in Data Science, I bring together analytical development and sociological insights. I utilize cutting-edge techniques in large-scale data mining and analytics to unravel the intricacies of organizational and institutional processes, examining their outcomes and effects.

My research interests span a wide range of contexts, including the experience of immigrant students within the U.S. public education system and the crucial issue of disability access and inclusion in universities and work organizations. My work seeks to shed light on these complex issues and contribute to meaningful change in these areas.
