Elizabeth Olsen

Psychiatry Resident, R25 Research Training Program

Biography

Dr. Olsen received her BS in psychology and MD through a combined program at Stony Brook University and is currently completing her psychiatry residency at Brown University. She is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society, American Psychiatric Association, and American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She has previously completed research in both bariatric-surgery seeking and psychiatric populations and has presented at both local and national conferences. She is currently working under the mentorship of Dr. Audrey Tyrka on the Lifestyle Influences of Family Environment (LIFE) and Camp KMS studies through the NIMH-funded R25 research training program for psychiatry residents.  Her research interests include examining the impact of childhood adversity on both mental and physical health.
