Soyeong Kim

Biography

Soyeong Kim, PhD is a post-doctoral research fellow at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown university. Dr. Kim completed her pre-doctoral internship at Johns Hopkins University and received her doctorate in counseling psychology from the University of Akron. Her research interests include trauma and PTSD, racial and ethnic minority mental health, cultural adjustment, and health interventions for refugees. She is currently working in the RI Resilience lab under the mentorship of Dr. Nicole Nugent and involved in NIH-funded research project investigating biomarkers and social context following trauma.
