The Classics Departmental Undergraduate Group (DUG) is a student-run organization for any Brown undergraduate students who are interested in the Classics. One of the major goals of the Classics DUG is to facilitate interactions between students and professors, and to help students learn more about the department. The Classics DUG will hold a variety of activities, ranging from department mixers to informational panels. Our ideas include:
- Department reception for faculty and interested students
- Lectures
- Trips to the MFA to look at Classical Art
- Latin tutoring
- Informational panels about studying abroad and applying to graduate school
- Thesis workshops and readings
