Lactation Resources

Brown University supports the needs of lactating parents. Access a map of lactation rooms, the Nursing Mothers in Workplace Policy, and tools for lactating parents and their supervisors. 

Child Care Subsidy

Child care subsidy recipients are awarded subsidies for eligible child care expenses for dependents between the ages of 0 to 6.  Awards will vary from family to family and year to year depending on financial needs and other factors.

Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account

A dependent care flexible spending account enables eligible employees to set aside a portion of each paycheck, tax free, to pay for dependent care expenses.

Back-Up Care

Brown University offers eligible employees access to back-up care for children, adults, or themselves when there is a temporary breakdown in normal care arrangements.
