Brown University celebrates staff in many ways each year, especially on BEAR Day where we all come together to celebrate staff reaching a milestone in years of service as well as those who have been selected for an Excellence Award. We celebrate staff in three separate, very special ceremonies:

A Celebration of Staff Dedication, an invitation-only luncheon hosted by President Paxson celebrating staff with 30 or more years of service. 

A Celebration of Excellence, an invitation-only breakfast celebrating excellence award winners. This intimate celebration features senior leaders and nominators highlighting the accomplishments of individual and team winners. 

BEAR Day: A Celebration of All Staff! Join us for this year’s BEAR Day celebration as all staff are invited for a ceremony and refreshments. With staff speaking and performing, student groups making cameo appearances, and live music, this truly upbeat, festive celebration of staff is not to be missed!
