KEYNOTE
Dr. Wendy Schiller was our keynote speaker for Staff Development Day 2024. Dr. Schiller, Alison S. Ressler Professor of Political Science, Director, Taubman Center for American Politics & Policy, and Professor of Public & International Affairs, delivered a keynote speech comparing the state of American life today with earlier periods economically, socially, and politically.
Following her keynote, Dr. Schiller hosted an afternoon session titled "Election 2024: Expectations and Potential Surprises." This session reviewed the upcoming elections at all levels, focusing on the presidential race and the battle for party control in Congress.

Refreshments, two drinks tickets, Del’s Lemonade, and desserts from the Brown Food Truck will be provided courtesy of Brown Dining and Catering. Staff can participate in entertainment, games, and other activities hosted by Talent Development and the Staff Advisory Council.
