GIS Institute begins

The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Institute is an intensive two-week course focused on visualization, management, and analysis of geographic data that allows participants to refine and/or develop spatial/geographic research questions with guidance and critical feedback from Brown University faculty.

It is a partnership between the PSTC's Spatial Structures in the Social Sciences (S4), the Brown University LibrariesEarthLab, and the Population Studies and Training Center. It is open to the entire Brown community free of charge.
