For their third meeting of the semester, the Migration Working Group (MWG) will welcome Sofya Aptekar, Associate Professor of Urban Studies at the CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies, who will discuss a little-known group of immigrants—non-citizen soldiers who enlist in the U.S. military. Dr. Aptekar's book on this subject was published last year by MIT Press.

The MWG is an interdisciplinary group of faculty, post-docs, and graduate students who are working on projects related to migration. New members from any discipline are welcome. If you would like to join the mailing list, please email Neha Lund.
