PROVIDENCE, R.I. [Brown University] – PSTC Associate and Assistant Professor of Health Services, Policy and Practice Omar Galarraga is part of team that was recently awarded a grant from the Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation. The funding, to be used in collaboration with the International Planned Parenthood Federation/Western Hemisphere Region (IFFP/WHR), will support an upcoming conference at the Watson Institute as well as joint research projects addressing sexual and reproductive health issues in Latin America and the Caribbean, including adolescent fertility and pregnancy, gender-based violence, and masculinities and men’s sexual and reproductive health.
