Aditi’s interest in the field of population health started with her independent research on Maternal Entitlements in India. She then worked on India's DHS data and co-authored two papers on maternal and child Health. Both papers are under review at Economic and Political Weekly and Lancet, respectively. Currently she is leading two research projects. The first project uses a phone survey in the Indian state of Bihar to estimate excess mortality during the COVID-19 pandemic. The second project assesses the state of different datasets recording stillbirths in India.
