Amory Kisch is the GIS and Data Analyst. He received a BA in History from the University of Chicago in 2014 and a MSc in Geography at University College Dublin in 2021. His responsibilities at S4 include using computer programming to automate data analysis and the creation of digital maps for the Urban Transition Historical GIS Project, led by John Logan. As part of this work, he uses computer vision techniques such as OCR and image recognition to digitize historical documents and maps.
