Cyril is interested in comparative politics, migration, citizenship, public service provision, violence, and displacement.

Cyril's research focuses on immigration, citizenship, and public service provision, especially in contexts of political crisis and forced migration. He has conducted research on topics such as refugee health and integration, community and interpersonal violence after disaster displacement, discrimination in healthcare settings, and the determinants and outcomes of COVID-19 control policies.
