Paul Koussa has more than 20 years of experience in the information technology field with more than 12 years in IT security. He is an expert in IT security architecture and analysis, vulnerability analysis and testing, firewall configuration, VPN, wireless LAN security, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), enterprise anti-virus protection, ethical hacking, IT system hardening and IPSec, incident handling, awareness training and authentication. He is considered an expert in all aspects of networking and in-depth knowledge of Operating Systems, including Solaris, Linux, HP-UX, AIX as well as the Microsoft OSs, such as server 2003, 2008, Windows XP and 7. Koussa also has considerable experience in hardware from vendors such as Sun Microsystems, HP, IBM, Juniper and Dell. Koussa has project management experience with large-scale IT system analysis, designing, testing, and implementation and has extensive knowledge of compliance requirements, best practices and standards such as HIPAA and FERPA. Koussa is currently a member of the Brown University Council for IT Leaders (BITLC).
