Predoctoral Trainee in Sociology

Sagen is interested in inequality in U.S. schools for racial/ethnic minorities and the impact of social policies on inequality. Her current projects examine the effects of school punishment and exposure to school resource officers on the schooling experiences of racial/ethnic minority students.
