Predoctoral Trainee in Sociology

Xinyan (Joyce) is broadly interested in family demography and educational inequalities. She studies how parents’ demographic and socioeconomic characteristics are associated with their time investments and children’s future outcomes. She is also interested in how disruptive events impact maternal and child health.
