Rebecca Wang is a Sociology PhD student researching migration in South Africa. Wang's dissertation project addresses circular migration in sub-Saharan Africa. Her research has examined the relationship between migration and occupational mobility as well as how household structure shapes the way migrants maintain social ties with their origin household.
