The renovation of 315 Thayer Street includes the complete renovation of the 24,000 gsf, four-story wood frame and masonry historical apartment building originally designed by Frederick Ellis Jackson. Completely reconfigured, the interior includes new partitions, revised egress stairways, and an elevator. In addition, there are twelve suites of varying sizes on the first through third floors and two suites and seven single rooms on the fourth floor. The basement level contains laundry and common spaces for the building. The renovation adds approximately 59 beds orientated to juniors and seniors.

The project achieved LEED Gold rating from the UGBC.
