As part of a significant development in the Jewelry District by Commonwealth Ventures, Brown fit out approximately 136,000 sf in the upper floors of the former South Street Power Station, as a long term lease. The space is occupied by over 500 administrators who were located across College Hill and the Jewelry District, freeing up space for academic initiatives, creating more efficient and productive work environments, and helping to invigorate the Jewelry District.

Through a process led by Gensler called Re-imagining Your Workplace, the workplace environment has been transformed into exciting, comfortable, and collaborative space that promotes a sense of well-being. In addition, the process coupled with initiatives to enhance overall area security, provide parking accommodations, and improve transportation systems.

This project received the 2018 IFMA Boston Chapter "Best Practices-Large Project" award.
