, 720

Are you interested in enhancing the use of peer review in your courses? On January 10 the Sheridan Center will be hosting a workshop for instructors interested in using Peerceptiv, a new evidence-based peer review tool for Canvas, in their Spring course. Peerceptiv enables instructors to define assignments, determine evaluation criteria, and lead students through a process of reciprocal assessment. In addition to supporting peer review of writing assignments, the platform also supports multimedia and presentation assignments. The workshop will cover best practices for instructor-guided peer review and designing rubrics in addition to tips for successfully integrating this new tool into your course. The interactive workshop will be held from 11:00 AM-3:00 PM with consultations available immediately after the workshop. Lunch will be provided to in-person participants. Questions about this workshop can be directed to Charlie Carroll at [email protected]. Questions about Peerceptiv can be directed to [email protected]. Space is limited; please register by Tuesday, December 19.
