The Sheridan Center offers intensive, immersive opportunities for faculty and graduate students across the disciplines to (re)design courses, or devote time to their writing.

Orientations to Teaching at Brown

The Center offers orientations to teaching at Brown for all new instructors. Faculty and postdocs are welcome to attend the Center’s orientation for new faculty. Graduate students should attend the workshop series for New TAs.

Tutoring

Academic Tutoring offers peer-led small group tutoring for undergraduates seeking to develop a deeper understanding of introductory STEM course content.

Writing

The Sheridan Center offers writing support for undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty.
