Lucy McInerney graduated from Dickinson College with a BA in Classics in 2015 before earning an MPhil in Greek and Latin Languages and Literature from the University of Oxford in 2017. She is currently a PhD candidate in Classics in the Department of Classics at Brown University, writing a dissertation on the presence of Ovid in the De Raptu Proserpinae, an epic poem composed by the poet Claudian at the turn of the 5th century CE. She began working at the Writing Center in 2021 (having worked at her undergraduate Writing Center all through college) and has been developing an interest in writing pedagogy and administration.
