Brown Bag Discussion: Talking Science w/ Cornelia Dean

Sheridan Center for Teaching & Learning

Society suffers when scientists and engineers keep away from policy debates, but their language of scholarly discourse can be ineffective in communicating with the public. Learn ways to approach this problem in a discussion led by Cornelia Dean, a science writer and former science editor of The NY Times, and author of Am I Making Myself Clear?, a guide for researchers. RSVP for this brown-bag discussion for faculty, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students at sheridan.brown.edu.
